Résumé

La présente étude vise à analyser la pratique du greenwashing. À cette fin, la conceptualisation du terme durabilité sera abordée, en vérifiant le lien entre la pratique du greenwashing et le droit environnemental à l’information. La méthode de recherche adoptée pour la préparation était la méthode déductive, à travers la structure du plan français. Le droit fondamental à l’information environnementale est l’un des éléments qui constituent la Règle du Droit Socio-Environnemental. Pour cette raison, les informations fournies au consommateur doivent être claires, véridiques et facilement accessibles, sinon elles porteraient atteinte à l'environnement. Il s’avère que la pratique du greenwashing trompe les consommateurs, les amenant à croire que certains produits et certaines entreprises sont durables, alors qu’en réalité ils ne respectent la législation sur la consommation que sous un déguisement de durabilité.
